The 10th Annual Henderson County Home Garden Tour – a self-guided driving tour of five gardens – is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This unique tour focuses on private gardens that are certified backyard wildlife habitats and includes a variety of outstanding garden designs.
The tour is underwritten by Hendersonville Home Builders Association, Wild Birds Unlimited of Hendersonville, and Macon Bank to benefit ECO and its backyard habitat projects. You'll enjoy water features and extraordinary rock work, woodland gardens, and loads of native perennials.
Tickets are $18 per person. Children under 10 are free with a paying, watchful adult.Tickets will be available by mail from ECO or at Hendersonville Visitor's Center, 201 S. Main St., Brevard Visitor's Center, Butterfly Meadow Garden and Nursery in Pisgah Forest, and Asheville Visitor's Center after May 1.
